Sendika.org editor Ali Ergin Demirhan was taken into custody due to his social media posts and the news he wrote, entitled, “We can stop dictatorship,” published on January 11. Released after testifying at the Prosecutor’s Office, the journalist said, “News on the Afrin war, including the cartoon of Latuff were considered terrorist organization propaganda along with many other content I’ve written. No problem, we explained that what we do is journalism, and we left.”
