The Radio and Television Supreme Council imposed removal-from-catalogue sanctions and administrative fines on HBO Max, Prime Video, Netflix and Disney+ over several productions. RTÜK imposed an administrative fine of 3 percent on HBO Max for “Bang My Box: The Robin Byrd Story,” 5 percent on Prime Video for “Spartacus: House of Ashur,” 3 percent on Netflix for “Heartstopper: Forever” and 5 percent on Disney+ for “A Teacher.” The council cited “LGBT propaganda,” “child abuse,” “obscenity” and “content encouraging violence” as grounds for the sanctions.
