Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) decided that Netflix must remove the movie “Cuties” from the catalogue with the claim that it involves scenes of child abuse. The Supreme Council debated a file on a pick-and-watch platform for the first time after Internet radios and televisions were bound to RTÜK monitoring. After this decree, in case Netflix decides to broadcast the movie, its temporary broadcasting license might be annulled.
