Those detained after the protests at Boğaziçi University reached 36 and Istanbul Governorate banned all meetings and demonstrations in Sarıyer and Beşiktaş districts. The Governorate showed the pandemic as the reason for the ban.
The police intervened against the press statement organized in Bahçelievler district by Boğaziçi University students residing in Ankara; many students were detained.
