Adana Governorate extended the protest demonstration ban against trustee assignments to municipalities for the third time, banning all demonstrations and events in the province for fifteen days. Hakkari Governorate also banned all statements and events for 30 days. Both bans were brought due to the protection of “national security” and “public order;” based on the allegation that “provocative activities may occur.”
