The decree of acquittal issued by Istanbul 13th Assize Court for Özgür Gündem Substitute Editors-In-Chief Reporters Without Borders Turkey (RSF) Representative Erol Önderoğlu, Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TIHV) Chair Şebnem Korur Fincancı and writer Ahmet Nesin was approved by the Prosecutor. The defendants were on trial due to “making terrorist organisation propaganda” through participating in the “Substitute Editing-In-Chief” campaign for solidarity with Özgür Gündem Daily. The file was carried to the appeal court.
