Istanbul 14th Assize Court started the process against former Cumhuriyet Daily Editor-In-Chief Can Dündar being considered a fugitive. Dündar is on trial due to publishing visuals and news information on the stopping of the Turkish National Intelligence Agency Trucks (MIT TIR). The court decided that in case Dündar doesn’t show up at the court, he will be considered a fugitive and that his entire properties will be confiscated.
