Political prisoners in Elazığ High Security Prison No 2 started a hunger strike against torture, ill-treatment and prevention of release.
DEM Party Amed MP Serhat Eren stated that during his meetings with the prisoners, ward raids, torture, ill-treatment and prevention of hospital transfers were reported.
Eren said that prisoners have started a hunger strike in groups of 3 and that the Ministry of Justice should take immediate action.
