A traffic police officer working in Eskişehir was suspended after his speech containing harsh criticism of the “Terror-Free Turkey” process with Abdullah Öcalan went viral on social media. In his speech, which was met with applause, the officer expressed his opposition to the process and politicians, stating that he had been unable to sleep since the process began. Following the spread of the footage, the General Directorate of Security suspended the officer from duty and announced that it had launched an investigation into the matter.
