Poet Yılmaz Odabaşı was arrested and was sent to Kandıra Prison. The poet wrote on Twitter on November 17 and said, “my social life is shaped around going to the courthouse as we live in a country where the number of imams and policemen is higher than the number of teachers.” He thus announced that he was sentenced to 2 years and nine months of imprisonment and that his sentence was approved by the appeal court.
