The lawsuit filed against 90 people was concluded after the defendants were detained in 2015 during the protest while demanding education in mother tongue following the call of Education and Science Workers’ Union and Alevi associations in Izmir. Izmir 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced the defendants to 5 months of imprisonment each.
