One person was killed following a protest against attacks on Rojava in the Gazipaşa neighborhood of Tarsus district in Mersin. After the group dispersed, 24-year-old Baran Abdi from Kobanê was shot and killed while standing on his aunt’s balcony. The person who carried out the attack was taken into custody after the incident. DEM Party Mersin Deputy Ali Bozan and Perihan Koca demanded that those responsible for the attack be brought to justice in statements they made after the attack.
