Author Orhan Pamuk’s latest book, “Nights of Plague”, has been the subject of investigation for the second time on charges of “insulting Atatürk and the Turkish Flag”. Upon the complaint of lawyer Tarcan Tülük, the author was summoned to testify on the same grounds as before, and a verdict of non-prosecution was issued in the investigation. Tülük’s objection to the verdict was accepted and the author was summoned to testify once again.
