The second hearing of the lawsuit filed against imprisoned Democratic Society Congress Co-Chair and former Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari MP Leyla Güven was held at the Diyarbakır 19th Assize Court on charges of “making propaganda for a terrorist organization” due to the speeches she made at the protests and events she attended. It was decided that the new indictment prepared by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office with the same accusation to be consolidated with the existing case file. The next hearing will be held on April 11.
