A lawsuit was filed against Ekrem İmamoğlu, the President of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB), for “insult” due to an argument he had with a citizen. The indictment demanded a prison sentence from 3 months and 15 days to 2 years and 4 months and a political ban. Bakırköy 33rd Criminal Court of First Instance accepted the indictment.
