In the lawsuit filed against 18 students and an academic, who participated in the 9th METU LGBTI+ Pride Parade held at the Middle East Technical University (METU) on May 10, 2019, on the charge of “organizing an unlawful demonstration march and resisting to disperse despite warning and force’, all defendants were acquitted.
