Malatya Governorate bans protests and events

On the anniversary of the February 6 earthquakes, Malatya Governorate banned all demonstrations and events across the province for 3 days on the grounds of “public security”. Despite the ban, political parties and civil society organizations staged a “silent march” in Malatya.
