Kaos GL Association has published the annual Human Rights Report of LGBTQ+s. According to the report, which reveals the state of LGBTQ+ rights in 2021, the summary of the year was violations in every category. While 2021 was a year in which the right to freedom of expression was heavily violated for LGBTQ+s, nearly 30 percent of all violations were violations of freedom of expression. Kaos GL reported 8 hate crimes in 2021. However, this number is thought to be much higher due to not having been reflected in the media. As state officials continue to target LGBTQ+s, torture against LGBTQ+ activists has increased, and impunity continues as a widespread and systematic state practice. In addition, administrative pressure on LGBTQ+ associations intensified. The biggest perpetrator of the violations is the state, as always!
