Within the scope of an investigation launched due to a cartoon published in Leman Magazine, editor-in-chief Aslan Özdemir was detained at Istanbul Airport in accordance with the arrest warrant issued against him. Özdemir was arrested by police officers as he was getting off the plane upon entering Turkey from France. Cartoonist Doğan Pehlevan, editor-in-chief Zafer Aknar, managing editor Ali Yavuz and graphic designer Cebrail Okçu were previously arrested as part of the same investigation.
