Lawyers wanting to make a statement at Ankara Courthouse to support their colleagues, who were detained in Diyarbakır and Urfa, were intervened by the police. 12 lawyers, including Lawyers for Freedom Association members, have been detained yesterday in Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır and Şırnak within the investigation started in Urfa. Libertarian Lawyers Association (ÖHD), Contemporary Lawyers Association (ÇHD), Social Law, Lawyers for Democracy and Human Rights Association (IHD) Ankara have made a call to protest the oppression against legal advocacy.
