Seven lawyers, who were on trial at Adana 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance due to the “Justice Watch” organized simultaneously in many provinces in Turkey for solidarity with arrested colleagues, were acquitted. Adana Bar Association Chairman Veli Küçük as well as lawyers Ali Akıncı, Sebahattin Demir, Sevil Aracı, Şiar Rişvanoğlu, Tugay Bek and Ümit Büyükdağ were on trial due to “acting against the measures taken by the Governorate within the State of Emergency” after participating in the press statement made in front of the courthouse on May 18, 2017.
