Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, renowned lawyer Rezan Epözdemir was detained at 05.45 in the morning. His house and workplace were searched, his digital materials were seized and his passport was restricted. Epözdemir is accused of “bribery”, “aiding FETÖ/PDY” and “political-military espionage”. Epözdemir, who took part in critical cases, is allegedly preparing to go to London.
