The Security General Directorate’s former Intelligence Office Chairman Sabri Uzun was sentenced to 11 months and 20 days of imprisonment due to “insulting the President” with a social media post he made in 2019. Ankara 31st Criminal Court of First Instance deferred the announcement of the verdict.
