A lawsuit was filed against IHD Co-Chair Eren Keskin and IHD Commission Against Racism and Discrimination member Güllistan Yarkın on charges of “insulting the state” (Article 301 of the Turkish Penal Code) for the commemoration organised by the Human Rights Association (IHD) on the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in 2021. The trial of the two rights defenders will start on 27 February.
