Journalists Canan Coşkun, Ali Açar and Can Uğur, who were accused of “targeting those who took part in the fight against terrorism” due to the news published in Cumhuriyet and Birgün Daily regarding the investigation into the death of 15-year-old Berkin Elvan during the Gezi Park protests, were acquitted at the Istanbul 34th Assize Court.
