The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against journalist-writer Faik Bulut with the allegation of “establishing and managing an illegal organisation” due to his activities within the Democratic Society Congress (DTK) was held at Diyarbakır 4th Assize Court. Bulut attended the hearing via the Audiovisual Information System (SEGBIS) and the Prosecutor announced his opinion, claiming a penalty against Bulut due to “illegal organisation membership.” The court scheduled the next hearing for January 28, 2021 for a defense statement to be made against the Prosecutor’s opinion.
