The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against journalist Melis Alphan due to “making terrorist organisation propaganda” through sharing a photo on Instagram six years ago with a message celebrating the Newroz, was held at Istanbul 32nd Assize Court. The Prosecutor announced his opinion on the basis and claimed for the journalist to be penalised. The next hearing was scheduled for May 21.
