The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against 7 people, who were detained in the 2021 Istanbul Pride Parade after it was banned by the Beyoğlu District Governorate, was held at the Istanbul 18th Criminal Court of First Instance on the charge of “violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations.” The second hearing of the case was scheduled for September 21.
