Academic Hifzullah Kutum, a research assistant at Fırat University in Elazığ, was arrested for the “September Revolution” message he shared on social media together with an image of Mele Mustafa Barzani. The indictment against the academic was accepted by the Elazığ 2nd Assize Court on the charge of “making propaganda for a terrorist organization”, whereas Kutum was released upon the objection of his lawyers. The first hearing of the case will be held on February 22.
