Police detained Kurdish writer Şivan Zeren, who had set up a book stand in the Tatvan district of Bitlis, on the grounds that he possessed a mug bearing an image of Arîn Mîrxan. After examining the books and mugs at the stand, police took Zeren to the police station along with the mugs. Processing of Zeren at the police station continued.
