Arrested since September last year, Evrensel Daily’s Tunceli Reporter Kemal Özer was not released in the second hearing of the case he is on trial due to ‘illegal organization membership.’ Tunceli 1st Assize Court denied Özer’s release claim due to “heavy crime suspect” and “insufficient arrest period for release with judicial measure.” The next hearing of the case will be held on 24 October 2018.
