The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against Ahmet Kanbal was held on charges of “targeting those who took part in the fight against terrorism” and “insulting a public official”. The court allowed Kanbal and his lawyer additional time to prepare their defense statement against the opinion on the merits and adjourned the case to February 2, 2022.
