The indictment against journalist Furkan Karabay was accepted by Istanbul 25th High Criminal Court. Karabay will be tried on charges of “insulting the President”, “targeting people who took part in the fight against terrorism” and “insulting public officials”, with a prison sentence of 6 to 15 years, based on his YouTube video and social media posts. It was decided to continue his detention. The first hearing will be held on December 2.
