Eren Tutel, sports editor of BirGün newspaper, who was charged with “insulting a public official” based on his news reports on the Turkish Wushu Federation, was sentenced to a total judicial fine of 8,840 TL at Istanbul 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance. The court deferred the announcement of the judgement.
