Another reaction against Turkey’s withdrawal from the convention came from men. 345 men from various professional field launched a statement and said, “Men kill – Istanbul Conventon lets women live.”

“Is manhood dead?” No, it isn’t, it’s killing women – as well as our humanity! Let us now remove this primitive, discriminatory arrogance both from our language and our lives. Humanity encompasses all without discrimination, it’s more than enough. We stand with the women in their fight for equality.
