Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation against CHP Diyarbakır MP Sezgin Tanrıkulu on charges of “denigrating the state” (Article 301 of the Turkish Penal Code) and “inciting the public to hatred and hostility” following his speech on a TV channel. “Everything the TSK does is not free from criticism.
