The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation on its own initiative after footage and audio recordings of Ekrem İmamoğlu’s diploma trial in Silivri were shared on social media. It was noted that proceedings had previously been initiated over the removal of posters and trial recordings.
