Yıldız Technical University administration launched an investigation against its students. The students were called via phone by the dean’s offices and were informed that investigations were opened against them, whereas they were not informed yet on the reason for the investigations. Yıldız Technical University students had supported Boğaziçi University students, who protested the appointed rector Melih Bulu and sang a version of the folk song, “The Rye Field” by telling the students not to bow down to the appointed rector.
