Çetin Doğan was beaten in Edirne during his compulsory military service, due to defending “education in Kurdish.” Despite being a victim, Doğan became a “suspect.” Following his complaint, two soldiers have testified in the investigation opened due to “willful injury”. Following the statements of the two soldiers, the Prosecutor’s Office started an investigation against Doğan due to “making illegal organisation propaganda” and “insubordination.”
