Adapazarı Akşam Haberleri [“Adapazarı Evening News”] Daily executives were summoned to testify due to “insulting a public officer on duty and slander” after the satirical headline on the newspaper’s June 15 issue, which said, “So Glad To Have You” for AKP Sakarya MP Ali İhsan Yavuz. The newspaper’s owner Mustafa Sarı, Managing Editor Sedat Balta and News Director İsmail Erken were released after testifying. The related news was published in the newspaper after the statement of Ali İhsan Yavuz, who said, “the media doesn’t reflect nice things.”
