Izmir Governorate started a disciplinary investigation against Çağatay Atasay, who has been a police officer for 27 years, over his social media post that said, “I reprimand my colleagues due to fulfilling an illegal order” regarding the police intervention against the protest organised by Bar Association Chairmen and lawyers against the regulation on multiple Bar Associations. Atasay is facing a total dismissal from his profession.
