Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office started an investigation against Istanbul Bar Association Chairman and the Executive Board members due to the photograph of lawyer Ebru Timtik after her death on the 238th day of her indefinite hunger strike with the claim of fair trial bein hung on the Istanbul Bar Association building. Istanbul Bar Association has previously been targeted by President Erdoğan as well as the Interior Minister and the Minister of Justice.
