SGDF MYK member Simay Ada Kart, who is imprisoned in Gebze Women’s Closed Prison, was not treated because she refused to be examined in handcuffs. The prison administration started an investigation against Kart for refusing treatment. In a letter sent from prison, Kart stated that he was unable to receive treatment and his complaints increased due to the imposition of handcuffed examination.
