Protests were held in the Güroymak district of Bitlis against attacks by forces affiliated with the Damascus regime on northern and eastern Syria. Citizens gathered in front of the DEM Party district headquarters and attempted to march to Roboski Park. Police blocked the march and intervened against the crowd. Eight people, including DEM Party officials and provincial council members, were beaten and detained. Speaking on behalf of the party, DEM District Co-Chair Yusuf Bingöl said they did not accept the attacks on Rojava.
