In the lawsuit filed against journalist Nurcan Yalçın on charges of “terrorist organization membership” and “making propaganda for a terrorist organization”, the court sentenced her to 2 years and 1 month of imprisonment for “wilfully aiding an illegal organization without membership”, as well as 1 year 6 months and 22 days of imprisonment for “making propaganda for a terrorist organization”.
