Announcing the results of the lawsuit filed against him on social media, comedian Emre Günsal wrote, “I was sentenced to 3 years and five months of imprisonment for 20 minutes of stand-up, which makes 62 days for every minute I was on stage.” The comedian was arrested due to using denigrating expressions about Atatürk, Rumi, Şems Tabrizi, Konya and the residents of Konya. He has remained in prison for 11 days and has been released.
