During house raids conducted in Izmir on the morning of April 2, 2026, five individuals from the Kaldıraç Movement, the Free University Movement, and the Socialist Women’s Movement were detained. The police took the detainees to the TEM branch on charges of “terrorist organization propaganda.” They were expected to be referred to the prosecutor’s office following their interrogations.
