People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır Provincial Co-Chair Hülya Alökmen Uyanık was sentenced to 10 years and six months of imprisonment due to “illegal organisation membership” based on her Democratic Society Congress (DTK) delegation as well as her union activities. Uyanık was arrested after the announcement of the decree by Diyarbakır 9th Assize Court and was sent to prison.
