The final decree was issued in the lawsuit filed against Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Assembly member Beritan Yaşar at the Diyarbakır 8th Assize Court on the charge of “terrorist organization membership” based on a secret witness statement and the press statements she attended. The court sentenced Yaşar to 7 years and 6 months in prison.
