Stand-up artist Pınar Fidan expressed hate speech against Alevis and cemevis during a show in Kadıköy. In a part of her speech, she said, “You could put them all in one hotel and burn them. There are examples in history.” However, Fidan indicated that her expressions were misunderstood. “I’m making an irony because I think the opposite. I’m actually mocking people who think that way, by repeating their way of thinking,” Fidan stated.
